Kudos to Buddy Norman for writing and compiling a great read for all of us. As a commercial agent who was selling houses back in college before making the jump, I was always amazed at the plethora of shared expertise and training almost everywhere for our residential brethren, and yet looking for great commercial coaching and ideas was like the barren wasteland. CCIM and a few regional events was about it. Buddy hits the nail on the head for several reasons, 1) I could tell he's been there, and quite successfully from his tutelage at several large great firms, 2) the concepts and ideas are presented in a way that really gets you thinking about improving your business and 3) the book is full of real live "nuts & bolts" from practicing professionals all over the country. I don't know how he got them to share the data, I'm just glad I get to use the ideas. Heavy on technology, which is where we're going, even if half the industry still thinks we'll all be doing commercial brokerage business like we have been. The train is leaving the station, the only question is if you're on the train or the platform. Shift Commercial is the ticket! Thanks Buddy! Great job!

KW Commercial President Buddy Norman with the help of Jay Papasan has distilled the essence of commercial real estate for the novice or experienced broker into 12 essential chapters. If you follow the examples of this book and operate what you do on a daily basis as if you own your own business, then you cannot help but be successful!
 
As a 26 year veteran of the industry, I highly recommend it as a must read book and for full disclosure I am featured in tactic #12 "Bulletproof the Transaction-Issues and Solutions". It is full of great examples in each chapter from professionals all over the country.
