Useful & Packs a Nice Green Punch
I'm one of the intended audiences of this book ... I'm interested in houses and passionate about all things green. I read a lot of these books so I went in concerned the book might be too fluffy. Thankfully the authors didn't waste my time ... it's quite a dense book and packs a nice green punch. They made sure to show their green chops from the onset with a wide-eyed straightforward explanation of why they wrote the book ... it's from the soul and that drew me in and built trust.
They've got a unique approach ... it's a step by step guide for homeowners who want to green their home ... and the book works for any home. It's also a tool for agents who are helping their clients go green, educating agents and homeowners as they go. Like I've seen with most KW books ... the underlying knowledge is dense and broadly applicable, built from real life stories of success distilled down to easy to use graphs that read almost as a fine dining recipe book. Just follow the model!
This book hits the mark, I strongly recommend it to any homeowner looking for tips how to green their home and any agent interested in green.
Practical Guidepost for Home Efficiency Upgrades
The information is clearly and cogently presented and in a very friendly manner, which is great since the notion of efficiency upgrades can be daunting. This easy to read book lays it out in a comfortable way. I'm glad I found it and have already started to implement some changes around our home based on what I learned. Now my brother is waiting for me to finish what I've started so he can borrow the book!
A Great User Friendly Guide
Keller Williams has developed a user friendly book that is very informative and provides homeowners with great tips and ideas for making their homes greener whether they are building, remodeling or greening up an existing home. This book is very down to earth and provides valuable information that can help home owners with all levels of green knowledge.
KW Makes Green Simple to Understand
Home owners often think they can't be green because it is too hard or cost too much. This book simplifies the process of going green. It is an excellent guide. Every home should have this book!
Green is Everywhere!
Our Grandparents called it "common sense" to do certain things in their everyday life to recycle and renew. They came through the depression and they learned to be frugal with all of their resources. Gary has captured the essence of these practices in this book and to our generation and those to follow, they're called "green". Great reference book for anyone!
